The primary activity of the MAN are temporary exhibitions, to which the museum dedicates itself on a regular basis, proposing itself as a place for research and communication of the most innovative phenomena of artistic production, within the framework of a dynamic cultural perspective in which local identity coexists and is strengthened in comparison with the globality of the artistic circuit thanks to exchanges with other museums and new productions. In line with its mission, MAN offers exhibitions dedicated to artists and movements in the history of art from the 19th to the 21st century and experimental projects aimed at the languages of the strictest contemporaneity. The "extramuros" activity, carried out outside the architectural structures of the museum, supports the internal activity and is proposed as a form of openness to the territory and operational involvement of local communities.
