The MAC Lula is the Widespread Museum of Contemporary Art of Lula. The museum hosts several generations of authors active in the 1900s and since the 2000s. MAC Lula's goal is to share its ever-expanding collection with the community, offering a space for reflection, learning and enjoyment for all.
The collection has two main strands: the surrealist and abstractionist one from the second half of the 20th century. There is no shortage of individual works by artists active since the 2000s focused on an artistic research that investigates with different materials, such as photography, sculpture, resin and other materials of a mixed and composite nature, reflections related to contemporary society and its deepest contradictions .
