The Grotta del Fico are coastal caves located in the municipality of Baunei in the eastern part of Sardinia; more precisely between the beaches of Cala Mariolu and Cala Biriala. In the past the caves were frequented by the monk seal, the last sightings date back to the end of the 80s.
